University Validations

In collaboration with the University of Waterloo's Neural and Rehabilitation Engineering Lab, we developed low-cost, foot-worn sensors to screen for early dementia. These sensors measure key spatiotemporal gait metrics—stride length, stride time, stance time, swing time, cadence, and stride speed—and have been validated using the gold-standard Vicon motion capture system.
